Ben Jordan - Sunday Sessions 4/09 - 19.30
Ben Jordan is an American independent musician from Denver, Colorado. He is currently residing and touring throughout the UK and Europe. This year Ben will release his highly anticipated follow up to 2010's Ghosts Breathing Through Our Strings, entitled, Dream Invisible on IRL Records. This album features the majority of Sam Green & the Midnight Heist, Jaz Delorean, from Tankus the Henge and other UK musicians. This summer, Ben was picked up as an endorsee for Anderwood guitars and signed by IRL Records.
Ben's songs range from intimate ballad to high energy foot stomper and everywhere in between. His solo shows are part comedy, part travelogue and always a hairs breadth from careening off the road. His communication and rapport with the audience is a rare and often hilarious thing to see. Never one to shy away from a road story or a joke before breaking your heart or making you want to get up and dance, Ben is both new & old in the same breath. With ever changing set lists and a prolific output of songs, definitely a live experience worth having more than once.

***Char & Tim***
Local favourites Char & Tim combine an incredible voice filled with soul with gorgeous guitar playing
***Pete & Svetlana***
Daniel Duke writes hand-clapping, foot-stomping, roof-raising, soul-baring folk music.
Duke’s singing and song-writing have been compared to the likes of Jeff Buckley, Brett Dennen, Conor Oberst and Mumford & Sons. Daniel honed his skills busking on the streets of Belfast, and it shows in the sheer power of his voice and, what Folkroom Records describes as the “catchy, Fleetwood Mac-does-folk-sing-a-long-anthems” sound of his songs.
The combination of roaring folk tunes, the odd Disney cover and the energy of his performance has made Daniel Duke a must see act.
Green Diesel - Sunday Sessions 11/09 - 19.30
The band Green Diesel make noise. Old fashioned, new fangled, jumping around with a violin and a bouzouki sort of noise. And they will continue to do so until they run out of instruments.
Specialising in innovative folk rock, Green Diesel first emerged in 2009, determined to pair new interpretations of traditional tunes with their own manic compositions, and make them dance.
The sextet of multi-disciplined musicians from Faversham, Kent, take their inspiration from the depths of English folk lore and legend and the classic folk rock sound of the 1970s. Like their predecessors Fairport Convention and The Albion Band, Green Diesel's sound is born from a love of traditional English music and a desire to reinvent it for modern audiences.

Alice Phelps - Sunday Sessions 25/09 19.30
You will have seen her smashing our stage after last year's Freshwater Sardine Festival and again on the garden stage at Lambstock.
Creating ambient lilting rhythmic harmonies with the harp allowing the bellowing husky vocals to be perfectly contrasted in a very unusual but beautiful way! Influenced by folk from near and far, irish to chinese, Alice blends this with non traditional and blues infused melodies.
