Spin Te Ku - Sunday Sessions 4/12 - 8PM
This is the softest way to introduce Spin Te Kú, the band that is revolutionizing
the Spanish musical scene with their innovative fusion
of Balkan-Ska and Krazy-Klezmer.
The way they combine accordion, trumpet, saxophone and energical
voices lead irretrievably to the same effect in all their shows:
uncontrolled dancing from the very first minute to the last.
The synergy generated among them, lifetime ska lovers, got
impregnated by East Europe’s rhythms (such as traditional Russian and Balkan music), Klezmer songs, as well as hardcore
punk distorsion, and led to a musical and popular raise which
began to be reflected on an
agenda without a break.

Tankus the Henge - 18/12 - 8PM
The annual Xmas special with Tankus at the Lamb!
The world of Tankus the Henge is uplifting and wild, dark and heartfelt.
A six piece powerhouse of a band drawing visual and musical influences from old time Fairgrounds to modern day Circus; The Beatles to Tom Waits and Gogol Bordello to Radiohead, they embody a look and a sound that lies somewhere between their South East London home and the carnival town of New Orleans.
With their charismatic frontman, Jaz Delorean, looking like a lost character from a Terry Gilliam film and the pump and grind of the Tankus the Henge sound generating a groove that makes it impossible to stand still, their live show ebbs and flows like a small boat on a turbulent sea.
Any other band who billed themselves as "the most fantastic band in the world" would rightly quake in their boots at having to live up to such fanfare. Tankus the Henge defy you to contradict them!
An Evening With ... Alicia Edelweiss, Me Rex and Gerrard Bell-Fife
An Evening With is a monthly live music event showcasing some of the best talent about.
Come and discover a different artist each month in the intimate setting of the Lamb.
For the last 4 years the Austrian with Welsh and Basque roots has been a vagabond, busking and playing concerts in various countries. Settling in Portugal for a while, she recorded her first EP three weeks after she began writing songs at all. Gradually getting bored by her existence as a hippy singer-songwriter, she decided to return to Vienna to explore new ways of performing and story-telling.
2015 she went on several European tours as a member and supporting act of folk punk band Old Trees, and in 2016 she released her first full-length album “Mother, how could you”. Since Alicia’s first recording from 2012 – the more anti-folk EP “I should have been overproduced” – her musical style has shifted in many ways. Nowadays you mostly meet her armed with her accordion telling sometimes strangely comic, sometimes gloomy stories with a circus flair to them - be it on the street, on stage or in some random circus that managed to drag her off.
ME REX (Acoustic Pop-and-or-Synth-Punk // London)
In 2015 I released 4-track EP called Triceratops, I recorded it in my friend's bedroom. I was about to go on tour in the UK for the first time and realised I wouldn't have time to finish the recordings, prepare artwork and print CD's before I left. I bought a load of second-hand toy dinosaurs from ebay and sold the EP as a download with a pay-what-you-feel dinosaur. This year I'm releasing another 4 track EP called Stegosaurus. Stegosaurus will be thematically similar but more representative of the way the songs are played live. I tour a lot by myself playing acoustic DIY shows, but about a year ago I met Orla (Swearwolves) when she did sound for a gig I played supporting The Tuts at Vinyl Deptford with Block Fort and Viva Zapata. We started playing together soon after and arrived at a kind of synthy pop-punk duo thing. More recently my housemate Sumena (from Dirty Girl) started playing bass with us. We're a band now.
GERRARD BELL-FIFE (Small 'f' folk music // Bradford)
After a doomed stint playing bass in a deathcore band Gerrard Bell-fife started performing at open mic nights and has been playing and organising DIY gigs ever since, across in the UK and Europe. He’s even appeared on Josie Long’s Alternative Reality tour.
