14/05  - Alice Phelps - Sunday Sessions 8PM

Creating ambient lilting rhythmic harmonies with the harp allowing the bellowing husky vocals to be perfectly contrasted in a very unusual but beautiful way! Influenced by folk from near and far, irish to chinese, Alice blends this with non traditional and blues infused melodies.

17/05 - An Evening With ... The Flamenco Thief - 8.30PM

Craig Sutton, better known as The Flamenco Thief, is an English guitarist whose phenomenal rise within the DIY music scene has seen him become one of the busiest touring artists in the country.

Specializing in fast rhythmic guitar playing Craig has earned a reputation for mesmerising live performances in which he uses a Spanish acoustic guitar with the Boss RC loop pedal to blend modern rhythms with time-honoured Flamenco techniques.

21/05 - Kris and The Blues Machine - Sunday Sessions - 8.30PM

KRIS AND THE BLUES MACHINES is Kris's blue side!!!
Kris usually travels around the country with a carnival of Circus musicians that go by the moniker of BLACKBERRY WOOD but every once and a while he gets the urge to travel the great unknown all by his lonesome and yell out the blues!!! Childhood memories include being told to sit in front of the kik drum, to keep it from slipping, in his dads Blues band and getting his first guitar from band members!!!
Musical adventures have followed Kris around all his life and this newest finds him traveling with his trusty companion "The Contraption" which plays samples of old marching drums, New Orleans rhythms, and earliest jazz drums as well as many fun orchestral sounds!!!

28/05 - Steve & Tat Whalley - Sunday Sessions - 8.30PM

Tat is the master of cathartic liberation with his son Tat they will tare your anxieties from you!

31/05 - An Evening With ... Joe Srouzer - 8.30PM

A harmonica player, blues shouter and guitar picker, Joe Strouzer sings songs from his travels from Newcastle to New Orleans and a hell of a lot of places in between. His driving resonator guitar is coupled with true harmonica voodoo and biting songwriting of modern trouble, heartpains, moonlit trysts, drinking and devilment, peppered with a rich history of blues.

On harmonica Joe has supported blues guitar legend Johnny Winter and performed at venues and festivals all over the UK, Europe and America.

His first studio EP, Bottle Broke was released August 2015.
