Martha Hill
Newcastle based Martha Hill writes hard-hitting alt-pop with a social conscience. Emerging musician Martha Hill grew up on a remote peninsular in Scotland. She was just 17 when she left her home travel Europe as a street musician. A talented multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, she settled in the North East and began to pen a series of pop songs that would transcend the streets, drawing on the influence of left-field artists such as Little Dragon and Sylvan Esso.
Baby Husband
Baby Husband is a dynamic and textured indie rock band based in London. Formed in the spring of 2018, they have a mix of English, Irish, Scottish and Welsh members who met at Kingston University. During their first performance together, they won the university’s battle of the bands.
They have since played at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the Fighting Cocks in Kingston.
Their last released single ‘What’s Wrong’ was produced by Chris Kimsey (The Rolling Stones).
Joplin Parnell
Joplin Parnell is a prominent pianist and vocalist on London’s Jazz and Blues scene. He has lived a life immersed in music having started out at an early age following his piano playing father around New Orleans parades, jam sessions and bars, snare drum in hand whilst days at home were spent receiving a musical education in the back of his mothers audio engineering studio watching her cut records and listening with keen ears. His sets weave a rich tapestry of New Orleans Rhythm & Blues and Brazilian Choro, New York Stride and French Musette with a Tango or two thrown in for good measure drawing influence from the full breadth of his musical heritage and imparting a deep soulful sensibility onto everything he does.
Tobias Ben Jacob
Singer songwriter Tobias Ben Jacob has been called ‘uniquely captivating’ by BBC6 Music and ‘inventive and thrilling’ by R2 Magazine. His songs are dynamic, poetic and ‘emotionally charged’ He has described his work as ‘a form of soul cartography.’ His live shows are ‘intense and spellbinding’ and deliver ‘many a spine-tingling moment.’ BBC Introducing in Devon have called him ‘ One of our best artists’ making him upload of the week four times.

George Simmonds and the Squintet
George Simmonds and the Squintet started in the murky past, during the winter of 2010, when George got a band together to play dodgy jazz standards in dodgy bars in East London. Since then, they have developed from a group of gangly teenagers into a slick funk machine, laying out grooves at their favourite venue in Islington, the Round Midnight Jazz and Blues Bar.
Tankus the Henge
A genre bending, never ending, furious and joyous force. On the road most of the time, defined by movement, groove and the search for adventure, Tankus the Henge have been making and breaking their own rules for a while now.
Originally based around the songwriting of singer/pianist Jaz Delorean and inspired by the hard graft ethics of an early 20th Century travelling show, Tankus the Henge will often play upwards of one hundred gigs a year in Europe. They have performed on stages across the world, from New Orleans to Albania, most places in between, including Glastonbury Festival, Montreux Jazz Festival, WOMAD, and countless others.
Their funk-fuelled repertoire is wildly eclectic, ranging from explosive rock riffs to New Orleans swing, and an insatiable love for a good singalong round the piano.
Gypsy Dynamite

The band was originally formed as a duo by Giulio Romano Malaisi and Filippo Dall'Asta in London in 2012. As well as performing regularly in the UK, they have toured in France, Italy, Malta and Russia, and played at many illustrious venues including the House of Parliament, Brasserie Zedel, Tower of London, Union Chapel, Novikov, the Century Club, Brasserie Toulouse Lautrec, Le QuecumBar, The Forge, Gaucho, Cahoots, The Hideaway and the Green Note.
Gabriel Moreno
Gabriel Moreno is a Gibraltarian poet and singer songwriter who has been performing for the past 20 years in Gibrlatar, Peru, Italy, Spain, USA and the United Kingdom. His folk songs are both poetic and political, mining the same rich seams as Leonard Cohen, Fabrizio D’Andre and Georges Brassens. In 2015 he joined up with The Quivering Poets, Basha Bartz, Pablo Campos, Pablo Yupton, Adam Beattie and Adria Faurra to create a wonderful new alt-folk band that push his poetry and song to new musical territories. The Quivering Poets perform with a passion and fire uncommon in the modern realm of aternative folk.
Rumpsteppers

RUMPSTEPPERS (UK / USA), are a high energy duo that appear regularly at major festivals, parties and international events. They describe their sound as “Gypsy Swing Funk & Bass”, a collision of vintage melodies with modern production.
Their obvious passion is infectious. Consistently bringing unbelievable amounts of hype to the stage, the live show is packed full of intelligent eclectic tune selection, non-stop dancing and mesmerising vocal gymnastics.
Andy Twyman
Andy first took to the stage aged 12 in pubs and clubs, with his guitar, voice and harmonica, often jamming with local musicians including Rory Graham (aka Rag and Bone Man). Before hitting 18, he had gigged as a solo act in top London venues including The Jazz Café and 100 Club. Driven to create a distinctive and exciting act, Andy learnt to play foot operated drums, giving his songs a beat to get people on their feet. Drawing on influences as diverse as Muddy Waters, Monty Python, the White Stripes and Noel Fielding he developed a one man band show.
Harp Bazaar
Harp Bazaar was born in the minds of Tara Minton (harp&vocals), Duncan Menzies (fiddle) and Filippo Dall’Asta (guitar) in London in late 2015.
The three musicians met on a session and embarked on a unique musical experiment: to combine the majestic and delicate sound of the harp with the speed and erratic energy of traditional Gypsy swing.
The band has performed at Le QuecumBar, London’s most famous Gypsy jazz venue, held a year-long residency at North London’s favourite music pub - The Boogaloo, toured Italy twice and performed at the Royal Albert Hall in April 2017… Welcome to the new world of Harp Bazaar, something you’ve never heard before!
MIRI
Singer/songwriter and campaigner MIRI is known for her distinctive soulful and gritty vocal tones, spiked with socially conscious lyrics and classic British songwriting. ‘Good Ones’ continues her brand of rebel music, premiered on radio by Gemma Cairney on BBC 6 Music and comes with an accompanying music video, which further showcases MIRI’s rebellious side, taking inspiration from Bob Dylan’s classic video for ‘Subterranean Homesick Blues’.
